How to Play

Basic Play: Select six different numbers from 1 to 25. Each play costs $1. Use a playslip to mark your numbers, or select Quick Pick (QP) for randomly generated numbers. Each Cash 25 playslip contains five panels (labeled A through E), allowing you to play between 1 and 5 sets of numbers per slip.

Number Selection: Mark six numbers from 1 to 25 in each panel you wish to play. Numbers can be chosen in any order - the order drawn does not affect winning. You can select different numbers for each panel or use the same numbers across multiple panels.

Quick Pick: Mark the QP (Quick Pick) box on your playslip to have any or all of your number sets randomly selected by the computer. This is the fastest way to play.

Multi-Draw/Advance Play: Play your selected numbers for up to 24 consecutive drawings. This option allows you to buy one ticket that covers multiple future drawings. Mark the number of draws desired on your playslip or request Multi-Draw when purchasing from a retailer. Draws cannot be skipped - if you select 10 draws, your numbers will play in the next 10 consecutive eligible drawings.

Ticket Cost Examples:

• 1 play (6 numbers): $1
• 5 plays on one playslip: $5
• 10 consecutive draws (1 set of numbers): $10
• 24 consecutive draws (maximum): $24

Prize Structure: You must match at least three of the six numbers drawn to win a prize. The top prize is $25,000. Prize tiers include:

• Match 6 of 6: $25,000 (with special sharing rules - see below)
• Match 5 of 6: Fixed prize (pari-mutuel)
• Match 4 of 6: Fixed prize
• Match 3 of 6: Fixed prize

Top Prize Sharing Rules: If there are 10 or fewer jackpot winners in a single drawing, each winner receives the full $25,000. If there are 11 or more jackpot winners, the total pool of $250,000 is shared equally among all top prize winners.

Overall Odds: The overall odds of winning any prize vary based on the number of matches required. The best odds are for matching 3 of 6 numbers.

Important Rules:

• Players must be 18 years or older
• Tickets cannot be cancelled once printed
• All sales are final
• Prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date
• The order of numbers drawn does not matter
• Sales close approximately 10 minutes before draw time (6:49 PM ET on draw days)
• Sign your ticket on the back for security

Claiming Prizes:

• Prizes up to $599: Claim at any West Virginia Lottery retailer
• Prizes $600 and above: Must be claimed at a West Virginia Lottery office or by mail
• Always bring valid photo ID and your signed winning ticket
