How to Play

Basic Game Play: Pick 2 is Florida's simplest daily draw game. Visit any Florida Lottery retailer and select one number from 0 through 9 in each of two columns for a total of two digits. You can play for 50 cents or $1 per panel. Choose your play type (Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Number, or Back Number) and select whether to play the Midday drawing (1:30 p.m. ET), Evening drawing (9:45 p.m. ET), or both.

Number Selection Methods:

• Manual Selection: Choose your own two-digit combination using a playslip
• Quick Pick: Let the terminal randomly select your numbers
• Favorite Numbers: Play the same numbers for up to 13 consecutive drawings
• Advance Play: Purchase tickets for multiple drawings in advance

Play Types and Prize Structures:

1. STRAIGHT Play - Match in Exact Order Your two numbers must match the winning numbers in exact order as drawn.

• 50¢ wager: Win $25 | Odds: 1 in 100
• $1 wager: Win $50 | Odds: 1 in 100

Example: You play 4-7 Straight. Winning numbers are 4-7. You WIN. If winning numbers are 7-4, you lose.

2. BOX Play - Match in Any Order Your two numbers can match the winning numbers in any order.

• 50¢ wager: Win $12.50 | Odds: 1 in 50
• $1 wager: Win $25 | Odds: 1 in 50

Example: You play 4-7 Box. Winning numbers can be 4-7 or 7-4. Either way, you WIN.

3. STRAIGHT/BOX Play - Both Ways to Win Combines both Straight and Box plays on one ticket. This play type always costs $1.

• If numbers match in exact order (Straight): Win $37.50
• If numbers match in any order (Box): Win $12.50
• Straight odds: 1 in 100 | Box odds: 1 in 50

Example: You play 4-7 Straight/Box for $1. If winning numbers are 4-7, you win $37.50. If winning numbers are 7-4, you win $12.50.

4. FRONT NUMBER Play - Match First Digit Only Only the first number needs to match the first winning number drawn.

• 50¢ wager: Win $2.50 | Odds: 1 in 10
• $1 wager: Win $5 | Odds: 1 in 10

Example: You play Front Number 4. If winning numbers are 4-7, 4-3, 4-9, or any combination starting with 4, you WIN.

5. BACK NUMBER Play - Match Second Digit Only Only the second number needs to match the second winning number drawn.

• 50¢ wager: Win $2.50 | Odds: 1 in 10
• $1 wager: Win $5 | Odds: 1 in 10

Example: You play Back Number 7. If winning numbers are 4-7, 2-7, 9-7, or any combination ending with 7, you WIN.

FIREBALL Add-On (+$0.50 or +$1): Adding FIREBALL doubles your ticket price but gives you extra chances to win. After the two main Pick 2 numbers are drawn, a FIREBALL number (0-9) is drawn. The FIREBALL can replace either of the two Pick 2 winning numbers to create additional winning combinations. You can win prizes with both the base game AND FIREBALL on the same ticket.

FIREBALL Prize Structure:

• Straight FIREBALL: $15 (50¢ play) or $30 ($1 play) | Odds: 1 in 50
• Box FIREBALL: $7.50 (50¢ play) or $15 ($1 play) | Odds: 1 in 25
• Straight/Box FIREBALL: $7.50 or $22.50 depending on match type
• Front/Back Number FIREBALL: $1.50 (50¢ play) or $3 ($1 play) | Odds: 1 in 5

Example: You play 4-7 Straight with FIREBALL. Main winning numbers are 3-7, FIREBALL is 4. The FIREBALL replaces the 3 to create 4-7, giving you a FIREBALL win of $30 (on $1 play), in addition to any base game prize.

Ticket Sales Cutoff: Tickets for each drawing may be purchased up to 13 minutes prior to the applicable drawing:

• Midday: Sales close at 1:17 p.m. ET (drawing at 1:30 p.m. ET)
• Evening: Sales close at 9:32 p.m. ET (drawing at 9:45 p.m. ET)

Prize Liability Limit: Florida Pick 2 offers set prize payouts with a $1 million liability limit for any specific 2-digit number in each drawing. If the limit is reached, prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
