How to Play

Basic Game Play: Pick 3 offers players the chance to win up to $500 twice daily. Visit any Florida Lottery retailer and select one number from 0 through 9 in each of three columns for a total of three digits. Choose your wager amount (50 cents or $1), select your play type, and choose which drawing(s) to enter - Midday (1:30 p.m. ET), Evening (9:45 p.m. ET), or both. You can play the same numbers for up to 14 consecutive drawings.

Number Selection Methods:

• Manual Selection: Pick your own three-digit combination on a playslip
• Quick Pick: Have the terminal randomly generate your numbers
• Advance Play: Purchase tickets for multiple drawings up to 6 months in advance
• Digital Playslips: Use the Florida Lottery mobile app to create and save playslips

Play Types and Complete Prize Structures:

1. STRAIGHT Play - Match in Exact Order Your three numbers must match the winning numbers in the exact order drawn.

• 50¢ wager: Win $250 | Odds: 1 in 1,000
• $1 wager: Win $500 | Odds: 1 in 1,000

Example: You play 1-2-3 Straight. Winning numbers must be exactly 1-2-3 to win. Any other order loses.

2. BOX Play - Match in Any Order Your three numbers can match the winning numbers in any order. Prize amounts vary based on whether you have a 3-Way Box (two digits the same) or 6-Way Box (all three digits different).

3-Way Box (e.g., 1-1-2, 5-5-7):

• 50¢ wager: Win $80 | Odds: 1 in 333.33
• $1 wager: Win $160 | Odds: 1 in 333.33

6-Way Box (e.g., 1-2-3, 4-5-6):

• 50¢ wager: Win $40 | Odds: 1 in 166.67
• $1 wager: Win $80 | Odds: 1 in 166.67

Example: You play 1-2-3 as a 6-Way Box for $1. Winning numbers can be 1-2-3, 1-3-2, 2-1-3, 2-3-1, 3-1-2, or 3-2-1. Any of these combinations wins $80.

3. STRAIGHT/BOX Play - Win Both Ways Combines Straight and Box plays on a single ticket. This play type always costs $1 (equivalent to a 50¢ Straight + 50¢ Box).

3-Way Straight/Box:

• If exact order match (Straight): Win $330 | Odds: 1 in 1,000
• If any order match (Box): Win $80 | Odds: 1 in 333.33

6-Way Straight/Box:

• If exact order match (Straight): Win $290 | Odds: 1 in 1,000
• If any order match (Box): Win $40 | Odds: 1 in 166.67

Example: You play 1-2-3 as a 6-Way Straight/Box for $1. If winning numbers are exactly 1-2-3, you win $290. If winning numbers are 2-1-3 (or any other order), you win $40.

4. FRONT PAIR Play - Match First Two Digits Only your first two numbers need to match the first two winning numbers in exact order. The third number is not considered.

• 50¢ wager: Win $25 | Odds: 1 in 100
• $1 wager: Win $50 | Odds: 1 in 100

Example: You play Front Pair 1-2. If winning numbers are 1-2-3, 1-2-7, or 1-2-9, you WIN. The third digit doesn't matter.

5. BACK PAIR Play - Match Last Two Digits Only your last two numbers need to match the last two winning numbers in exact order. The first number is not considered.

• 50¢ wager: Win $25 | Odds: 1 in 100
• $1 wager: Win $50 | Odds: 1 in 100

Example: You play Back Pair 2-3. If winning numbers are 1-2-3, 5-2-3, or 9-2-3, you WIN. The first digit doesn't matter.

6. COMBO Play - All Straight Combinations COMBO automatically plays all possible Straight combinations of your three numbers. This play type costs more but gives you multiple ways to win the Straight prize.

3-Way Combo (two digits the same, e.g., 1-1-2):

• $1.50 wager (3 × 50¢): Win $250 if any combination hits | Odds: 1 in 333.33
• $3.00 wager (3 × $1): Win $500 if any combination hits | Odds: 1 in 333.33

6-Way Combo (all different digits, e.g., 1-2-3):

• $3.00 wager (6 × 50¢): Win $250 if any combination hits | Odds: 1 in 166.67
• $6.00 wager (6 × $1): Win $500 if any combination hits | Odds: 1 in 166.67

Example: You play 1-2-3 as a 6-Way Combo for $3. This automatically creates six 50¢ Straight tickets: 1-2-3, 1-3-2, 2-1-3, 2-3-1, 3-1-2, and 3-2-1. If any of these exact combinations are drawn, you win $250.

FIREBALL Add-On - Double Your Chances: For an additional $0.50 or $1 (equal to your base play amount), add FIREBALL to create more winning combinations. After the three Pick 3 numbers are drawn, a FIREBALL number (0-9) is drawn separately. You can use this FIREBALL number to replace any one of the three Pick 3 winning numbers, creating additional winning combinations. You can win with BOTH the base game numbers AND the FIREBALL combinations on the same ticket.

FIREBALL Prize Structure:

Straight FIREBALL:

• 50¢ play: Win $100 | Odds: 1 in 333
• $1 play: Win $200 | Odds: 1 in 333

Box FIREBALL:

• 3-Way: 50¢/$34, $1/$68 | Odds: 1 in 111
• 6-Way: 50¢/$17, $1/$34 | Odds: 1 in 56

Straight/Box FIREBALL (combines both above payouts):

• 3-Way: Straight $330 or Box $34
• 6-Way: Straight $290 or Box $17

Front Pair FIREBALL:

• 50¢ play: Win $10 | Odds: 1 in 33
• $1 play: Win $20 | Odds: 1 in 33

Back Pair FIREBALL:

• 50¢ play: Win $10 | Odds: 1 in 33
• $1 play: Win $20 | Odds: 1 in 33

Combo FIREBALL:

• 3-Way: $1.50/$100, $3/$200 | Odds: 1 in 111
• 6-Way: $3/$100, $6/$200 | Odds: 1 in 56

Example: You play 1-2-3 Straight with FIREBALL for $2 total ($1 base + $1 FIREBALL). Winning numbers are 1-5-3, and FIREBALL is 2. The FIREBALL 2 can replace the 5, creating 1-2-3, which gives you a FIREBALL Straight win of $200, in addition to checking for any base game prize.

Ticket Sales Cutoff: Tickets for each drawing may be purchased up to 11 minutes prior to the applicable drawing:

• Midday: Sales close at 1:19 p.m. ET (drawing at 1:30 p.m. ET)
• Evening: Sales close at 9:34 p.m. ET (drawing at 9:45 p.m. ET)
