How to Play
Basic Game Play: To play Florida Lotto, visit any authorized Florida Lottery retailer and select six numbers from 1 to 53. You can choose your own numbers using a paper or digital playslip, or request Quick Pick to have the terminal randomly select numbers for you. Each base ticket costs $2 and includes an automatically generated multiplier number.

Multiplier Feature (Automatic - No Extra Cost): Every Florida Lotto ticket automatically includes a randomly generated multiplier number that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. The multiplier is printed on your ticket and applies only to Match 3, Match 4, and Match 5 prizes. The jackpot cannot be multiplied. Multiplier distribution odds:
- 2x multiplier: 1 in 2.89 (most common)
- 3x multiplier: 1 in 5.8
- 4x multiplier: 1 in 13
- 5x multiplier: 1 in 20.17
- 10x multiplier: 1 in 26 (rarest)
Double Play Add-On (+$1): For an additional $1 per play, add Double Play to get a second chance to win in a separate drawing held immediately after the main Florida Lotto drawing. Your same six numbers and multiplier are used in this additional drawing. Double Play features:

- Separate prize structure with fixed amounts

Jackpot Payment Options: Jackpot winners have two payment options:
- Annual Payments: Receive your jackpot share in 30 equal annual installments over 29 years
- Cash Option: Receive a one-time lump sum payment equal to the cash value needed to fund the 30-year annuity (typically 50-70% of advertised jackpot)
Important: If you choose the Cash Option, you must claim within the first 60 days of the 180-day claim period. After 60 days, only the annual payment option is available.
