How to Play

Basic Game Play: To play Florida Lotto, visit any authorized Florida Lottery retailer and select six numbers from 1 to 53. You can choose your own numbers using a paper or digital playslip, or request Quick Pick to have the terminal randomly select numbers for you. Each base ticket costs $2 and includes an automatically generated multiplier number.

Ticket Purchase Options:

• Use the Florida Lottery mobile app to create digital playslips
• Fill out paper playslips at retail locations
• Use lottery vending machines at authorized locations
• Purchase tickets up to 6 months in advance with Advance Play
• Play the same numbers for multiple consecutive drawings

Multiplier Feature (Automatic - No Extra Cost): Every Florida Lotto ticket automatically includes a randomly generated multiplier number that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. The multiplier is printed on your ticket and applies only to Match 3, Match 4, and Match 5 prizes. The jackpot cannot be multiplied. Multiplier distribution odds:

• 2x multiplier: 1 in 2.89 (most common)
• 3x multiplier: 1 in 5.8
• 4x multiplier: 1 in 13
• 5x multiplier: 1 in 20.17
• 10x multiplier: 1 in 26 (rarest)

Double Play Add-On (+$1): For an additional $1 per play, add Double Play to get a second chance to win in a separate drawing held immediately after the main Florida Lotto drawing. Your same six numbers and multiplier are used in this additional drawing. Double Play features:

• Fixed top prize of $250,000 (not progressive)
• Separate prize structure with fixed amounts
• Match 6 numbers: $250,000
• Match 5 numbers: Base $7,000, multiplied to $14,000-$70,000 with 2x-10x multipliers
• Match 4 numbers: Base $700, multiplied to $1,400-$7,000

EZmatch Instant Win Add-On (+$1): For an additional $1, add EZmatch to your ticket for instant winning opportunities. When you add EZmatch, five EZmatch numbers with prize amounts are printed on your ticket. If any EZmatch number matches any of your six Florida Lotto numbers, you instantly win the prize amount shown next to that EZmatch number - no need to wait for the drawing.

Prize Structure - Main Game: Florida Lotto uses a pari-mutuel prize system for all prize levels, meaning prize amounts vary based on ticket sales and number of winners. However, the minimum and typical prizes are:

• Match 6 of 6 (Jackpot): Starts at $1,000,000 and rolls until won (often exceeds $20 million) | Odds: 1 in 22,957,480
• Match 5 of 6: Base prize approximately $3,000 before multiplier | With multiplier: $6,000 (2x) to $30,000 (10x) | Odds: 1 in 81,409.5
• Match 4 of 6: Base prize approximately $50 before multiplier | With multiplier: $100 (2x) to $500 (10x) | Odds: 1 in 1,415.82

Jackpot Payment Options: Jackpot winners have two payment options:

1. Annual Payments: Receive your jackpot share in 30 equal annual installments over 29 years
2. Cash Option: Receive a one-time lump sum payment equal to the cash value needed to fund the 30-year annuity (typically 50-70% of advertised jackpot)

Important: If you choose the Cash Option, you must claim within the first 60 days of the 180-day claim period. After 60 days, only the annual payment option is available.

Ticket Sales Cutoff: Tickets may be purchased up to 10:55 p.m. Eastern Time on drawing nights (Wednesdays and Saturdays). Drawings are held at 11:15 p.m. ET.
