How to Play

Number Selection: Choose any four-digit number from 0000 to 9999. Select your own numbers or use Quick Pick for random selection. Each of the four positions is selected independently.

Wager Options: Choose to wager $0.50 or $1.00 per play. All prizes scale proportionally with wager amount.

Draw Selection: Pick Day drawing, Evening drawing, or both. Place Pick 4 plays for up to seven draws in advance.

Play Types:

1. Straight ($0.50 or $1.00): Match all four digits in exact order drawn.

   • $0.50 wager: $2,500 prize | $1.00 wager: $5,000 prize
   • Odds: 1 in 10,000
   • Payoff ratio: 5000 to 1

2. Box ($0.50 or $1.00): Match all four digits in any order. Prize varies by combination type:

   • 4-Way Box (three identical digits + 1 different): $0.50 = $600 / $1.00 = $1,200 | Odds: 1 in 2,500
   • 6-Way Box (two pairs of different digits): $0.50 = $400 / $1.00 = $800 | Odds: 1 in 1,667
   • 12-Way Box (one pair + two unique digits): $0.50 = $200 / $1.00 = $400 | Odds: 1 in 833.33
   • 24-Way Box (all four digits different): $0.50 = $100 / $1.00 = $200 | Odds: 1 in 416.67

3. Straight/Box ($1.00 or $2.00): Combines Straight and Box plays on one ticket. Win both prizes if numbers match exactly; win just the Box prize if they match in any other order. This doubles your ticket cost but provides dual winning chances.

Wild Ball Add-On Feature: The Wild Ball is a single digit (0-9) drawn after the main numbers. When you add Wild Ball, it doubles the cost of your play. The Wild Ball can substitute for one of your digits to create additional winning combinations. Your ticket numbers remain unchanged.

Wild Ball Prizes (per $1 base play, $2 total with Wild Ball):

• Straight base $5,000 → Wild Ball prize: $1,500 | Wild Ball odds: 1 in 2,500
• 4-Way Box base $1,200 → Wild Ball prize: $390 | Wild Ball odds: 1 in 625
• 6-Way Box base $800 → Wild Ball prize: $260 | Wild Ball odds: 1 in 417
• 12-Way Box base $400 → Wild Ball prize: $130 | Wild Ball odds: 1 in 208
• 24-Way Box base $200 → Wild Ball prize: $60 | Wild Ball odds: 1 in 104

Note: $0.50 play prizes are half the $1.00 amounts.

Multi-Draw: Replay your selected numbers for up to seven consecutive draws in any combination of day and evening drawings.

Draw Times:

• Day Drawing: Results available daily after 1:35 p.m. ET (sales end 1:05 p.m.)
• Evening Drawing: Drawn nightly at 6:59 p.m. ET (sales end 6:57 p.m.)

How to Purchase: Fill out a Pick 4 playslip by marking four numbers, selecting your play type and wager amount, choosing day/evening/both draws, and indicating whether to add Wild Ball. Tickets available at PA Lottery retailers or online through the website/app.

Play Strategy: Straight offers the highest payout but requires exact order. Box provides better odds with lower payouts. Straight/Box gives you both chances on one ticket for maximum flexibility.
