How to Play

Number Selection: Choose between 1 and 10 numbers (called "SPOTS") from a pool of 1 to 80. You can select specific numbers or use Quick Pick for random selection. Each drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery randomly draws 20 winning numbers from the 80-number pool.

Wager Amounts: Select your cost per drawing. The higher the cost, the more you could win. Prizes shown below are based on a $1 play amount and scale proportionally with higher wagers.

Spot Selection & Base Prizes (at $1 wager):

  • 1 SPOT: Match 1 = $2.50 | Overall odds: 1 in 4
  • 2 SPOT: Match 2 = $10 | Overall odds: 1 in 16.6
  • 3 SPOT: Match 3 = $25 | Overall odds: 1 in 72.1
  • 4 SPOT: Match 4 = $100 | Overall odds: 1 in 326.4
  • 5 SPOT: Match 5 = $450 | Overall odds: 1 in 1,551
  • 6 SPOT: Match 6 = $1,200 | Overall odds: 1 in 7,753
  • 7 SPOT: Match 7 = $5,000 | Overall odds: 1 in 40,979
  • 8 SPOT: Match 8 = $10,000 | Overall odds: 1 in 230,115

  • 10 SPOT: Match 10 = $100,000 | Overall odds: 1 in 8,911,711

Each spot level has multiple prize tiers for partial matches. For example, matching fewer than all your selected numbers can still win prizes at certain spot levels.

Keno Multiplier Feature: The Keno Multiplier is an optional feature that triples your play cost but can increase your winnings by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X. A multiplier is randomly drawn for each drawing and applies to all eligible prizes. For example, a $1 play with Multiplier costs $3 total. If you win a prize and the drawn multiplier is 10X, your prize is multiplied by 10.

The Multiplier gives you the chance to dramatically increase prizes - for instance, the 10 Spot top prize of $100,000 could become $1,000,000 with a 10X multiplier.

Consecutive Draws: Play your selected numbers for up to 20 consecutive drawings on a single ticket. With drawings every 4 minutes, 20 draws represents over an hour of continuous action.

Drawing Schedule: Keno drawings are held every 4 minutes throughout the day. The live stream resets at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.

Liability Cap: Maximum single-draw payout per prize category is $2 million.

Advance Play: Tickets for Keno may be purchased up to 20 draws in advance.

Why Play Keno: The frequent drawings (every 4 minutes) provide near-instant gratification. Flexible spot selection (1-10) and variable wagers allow complete customization of risk versus reward.
