Jackpot Details:
- Starting Jackpot: $2 million (annuitized value)
- No Jackpot Cap: The jackpot rolls over to the next drawing if not won and there is no upper limit. Jackpots have been known to exceed $40 million.
- Annuity Option: The advertised jackpot is paid as 30 annual payments over 29 years, with the first payment made immediately upon claiming.
- Cash Option (Lump Sum): Winners may elect a single lump-sum cash payment equal to the total amount in the jackpot prize pool. If the cash share of the jackpot is worth $250,000 or less per winner (in the case of multiple winners), MUSL may determine that the annuity option is not available and the prize will be paid as a cash lump sum only.
- Jackpot Sharing: If multiple tickets match all six numbers, the jackpot is split equally among all winning tickets.
All Star Bonus Add-On: Cost: $1 per play (in addition to the $1 base ticket, for $2 total per play)
The All Star Bonus multiplies all non-jackpot prizes by a randomly selected multiplier (2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x). The multiplier is drawn before each Lotto America drawing.
Important: The All Star Bonus does NOT apply to the Grand Prize jackpot. The jackpot amount remains unchanged regardless of whether the All Star Bonus was purchased.
Note: The All Star Bonus is an all-or-nothing option on each play slip. If you check the All Star Bonus box, it applies to every play on that slip.
All Star Bonus Multiplier Probabilities
The multiplier is randomly selected from a pool of 32 balls:
| Multiplier | Number of Balls | Probability | Approx. Odds |

| 4x | 4 balls | 4/32 (12.5%) | 1 in 8.0 |
| 5x | 3 balls | 3/32 (9.4%) | 1 in 10.7 |
Note: MUSL may alter these probabilities during special promotional periods.

Special Rules:
- Most Affordable Multi-State Game: At just $1 per play, Lotto America is the least expensive multi-state jackpot game available (compared to $2 for Powerball/Cash4Life/Lucky for Life and $5 for Mega Millions).
- Smallest Number Pools: With just 52 main numbers and 10 Star Ball numbers, Lotto America has smaller number pools than Powerball (69 + 26) and Mega Millions (70 + 24), resulting in much better jackpot odds (1 in 25.99 million vs. 1 in 292 million for Powerball).
- All-or-Nothing Bonus Selection: When you select the All Star Bonus on a play slip, it applies to ALL plays on that slip. You cannot selectively apply it to individual plays.
- Limited Availability: Lotto America is available in only 16 jurisdictions, making it the most geographically limited of the major multi-state games.
- MUSL Cash Threshold: If the cash value of the jackpot per winner drops to $250,000 or below, MUSL may pay the jackpot as a mandatory cash lump sum without offering an annuity option.
