How to Play

Number Selection: Select four white ball numbers from 1 to 35 and one Cash Ball number from 1 to 25. You can manually choose your numbers or use Quick Pick to have the lottery computer randomly select numbers for you.

Ticket Pricing: Each play costs $1.00. The optional EZMatch add-on feature costs an additional $1.00 per play, bringing the total to $2.00 per play with EZMatch.

Play Slip Instructions: Fill out the play slip by marking four numbers in the white ball area (1-35) and one number in the Cash Ball area (1-25). Use blue or black ink or pencil to make heavy vertical marks. Multiple play areas are available on each slip.

Quick Pick: Request a Quick Pick from your retailer or mark the QP option on your play slip. The lottery terminal will automatically generate random number selections - four white balls from 1-35 and one Cash Ball from 1-25. Quick Pick is ideal for players who prefer random selections or want to save time.

Multi-Draw Options: You can play your selected numbers for multiple consecutive drawings. Available options include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, or 20 consecutive draws. This feature saves time and ensures you never miss a drawing with your favorite numbers. Mark the desired number of draws on your play slip.

Winning Requirements: To win the top prize of $225,000, you must match all four white ball numbers plus the Cash Ball. The order of the four white balls does not matter. You can also win prizes by:

• Matching 4 white balls without the Cash Ball
• Matching 3 white balls with the Cash Ball
• Matching 3 white balls without the Cash Ball
• Matching 2 white balls with the Cash Ball
• Matching 2 white balls without the Cash Ball
• Matching 1 white ball with the Cash Ball
• Matching only the Cash Ball (wins a free Quick Pick ticket)

EZMatch Instant-Win Add-On: For an additional $1 per play, add EZMatch for the chance to win up to $500 instantly before the nightly drawing even occurs. EZMatch is only available at retail locations and cannot be purchased online.

How EZMatch Works: When you add EZMatch to your Cash Ball 225 ticket, five EZMatch numbers will print on your ticket along with corresponding instant prize amounts for each number. You can win in two ways:

1. If your first four EZMatch numbers match your first four Cash Ball numbers (in any order), you win the instant prize shown
2. If your EZMatch Cash Ball number (shown as "CB") matches your Kentucky Cash Ball number, you win the instant prize amount printed on the ticket

You can win multiple EZMatch prizes on the same ticket if multiple matches occur. EZMatch prizes are separate from and in addition to any prizes you win in the nightly Cash Ball 225 drawing.

EZMatch Prize Amounts: EZMatch offers instant prizes ranging from $2 to $500, with varying odds. The highest prizes of $250 and $500 each have odds of 1 in 84,000.

Overall Odds: The overall odds of winning any prize in the nightly Cash Ball 225 drawing are 1 in 10.7, making it one of the better odds among Kentucky Lottery draw games.

Prize Claim Period: All Cash Ball 225 prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the date of the drawing. Prizes not claimed within this period are forfeited and returned to the Kentucky Lottery fund for future prizes and state programs.

Maximum Payout: The maximum total amount paid out for any single drawing is $1,000,000.

Jackpot Payment: The $225,000 top prize is paid as a single lump sum cash payment. There is no annuity option for Cash Ball 225.

Drawing Availability: Draws are held every single night, seven days a week, including holidays, giving players 365 opportunities per year to win.
