How to Play

Play4 provides two daily opportunities to win prizes up to $25,000. Players select four digits (0-9), choose from multiple play types, select a wager amount in $0.50 increments from $0.50 to $5.00, and optionally add the Wild Ball feature for enhanced winning opportunities.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Choose Your Numbers: Pick four digits from 0-9 (one for each position), or use Quick Pick for computer-generated random numbers

2. Select Your Play Type:

   STRAIGHT (Odds: 1 in 10,000)

   • Match all four numbers in exact order as drawn
   • $0.50 wager = $2,500 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $5,000 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $25,000 prize
   • Example: You pick 1234, winning number is 1234 = WIN

   4-WAY BOX (Odds: 1 in 2,500)

   • For numbers with three identical digits (e.g., 1112, 2223, 9990)
   • Match all four digits in any order
   • $0.50 wager = $625 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $1,250 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $6,250 prize
   • Example: You pick 1112, winning numbers 1121, 1211, or 2111 = WIN

   6-WAY BOX (Odds: 1 in 1,667)

   • For numbers with two pairs of digits (e.g., 1122, 4455, 7788)
   • Match all four digits in any order
   • $0.50 wager = $417 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $834 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $4,170 prize
   • Example: You pick 1122, winning numbers 1212, 1221, 2112, 2121, or 2211 = WIN

   • Match all four digits in any order

   24-WAY BOX (Odds: 1 in 417)

   • For numbers with four different digits (e.g., 1234, 5678, 2468)
   • Match all four digits in any order
   • $0.50 wager = $104 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $208 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $1,040 prize
   • Example: You pick 1234, any arrangement of these digits wins (1243, 1324, 1342, 1423, etc.)

   FRONT PAIR (Odds: 1 in 100)

   • Match the first two digits in exact order
   • Last two digits can be anything
   • $0.50 wager = $25 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $50 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $250 prize

   BACK PAIR (Odds: 1 in 100)

   • Match the last two digits in exact order
   • First two digits can be anything
   • $0.50 wager = $25 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $50 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $250 prize

   SPLIT PAIR (Odds: 1 in 100)

   • Match the first and fourth digits in exact order
   • Middle two digits can be anything
   • $0.50 wager = $25 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $50 prize
   • $5.00 wager = $250 prize

   STRAIGHT/BOX (minimum $1.00 even bet amounts only)

   • Combines a Straight play and a Box play on one ticket
   • Splits wager equally: $1.00 = $0.50 Straight + $0.50 Box
   • Win Straight match = receive both Straight and Box prizes
   • Win Box match only = receive Box prize
   • Available in even dollar amounts: $1.00, $2.00, $3.00, $4.00, $5.00

   COMBO (available for $0.50-$1.00 wager amounts only)

   • Automatically plays all possible combinations of your four digits as individual Straight bets
   • 4-Way Combo costs $2.00 ($0.50 × 4 combinations)
   • 6-Way Combo costs $3.00 ($0.50 × 6 combinations)
   • 12-Way Combo costs $6.00 ($0.50 × 12 combinations)
   • 24-Way Combo costs $12.00 ($0.50 × 24 combinations)
   • Guaranteed Straight win if your digits are drawn in any order

3. Choose Your Wager: Select a wager amount in $0.50 increments between $0.50 and $5.00 ($0.50, $1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $2.50, $3.00, $3.50, $4.00, $4.50, $5.00)

4. Add Wild Ball (Optional): Adding Wild Ball DOUBLES your total wager cost

Wild Ball Feature Details: After the regular Play4 drawing, one Wild Ball Number (0-9) is drawn. The Wild Ball replaces one of the numbers drawn by the Lottery (not a number on your ticket) to create additional winning opportunities.

How Wild Ball Works:

• Winning numbers drawn: 1-2-3-4, Wild Ball: 7
• If your ticket shows 1-2-3-7, the Wild Ball 7 can replace the drawn 4, creating a match
• Wild Ball improves Straight odds from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 2,500
• Wild Ball prizes for Straight play: $0.50 bet = $700 | $5.00 bet = $7,000
• Pair prizes with Wild Ball: $0.50 bet = $14 | $5.00 bet = $140
• Adding Wild Ball doubles your base wager (e.g., $1.00 becomes $2.00 total)

Multi-Draw Options:

• Advance Action: Play identical numbers for up to 7 consecutive drawings in advance
• Replay: Request a new ticket with the same numbers and play type from a previous play

Important Rules:

• Play4 tickets printed by a Retailer's Lottery terminal can be voided before the drawing
• Tickets from vending machines CANNOT be cancelled after printing
• All draw game prizes expire 180 calendar days from the draw date
• Sales may be limited for specific number combinations if liability thresholds are reached
• Minimum age to purchase: 18 years old
• The ticket is the only valid proof of purchase for claiming prizes
