How to Play

Play3 offers two chances daily to win prizes up to $2,500. The game provides multiple ways to win based on how you choose to play your three-digit number. Players select three single-digit numbers (0-9) or use Quick Pick for random selection, choose a play type, select a wager amount, and optionally add the Wild Ball feature.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Choose Your Numbers: Pick three digits from 0-9 (one for each position), or mark the Quick Pick box for computer-selected numbers

2. Select Your Play Type:

   STRAIGHT ($0.50 = $250 | $1.00 = $500 | $5.00 = $2,500)

   • Match all three numbers in exact order as drawn
   • Example: You pick 123, winning number is 123 = WIN
   • Example: You pick 123, winning number is 132 = LOSE
   • Odds: 1 in 1,000

   3-WAY BOX ($0.50 = $83.50 | $1.00 = $167 | $5.00 = $835)

   • For numbers with two identical digits (e.g., 112, 223, 900)
   • Match all three digits in any order
   • Example: You pick 112, winning numbers 121 or 211 = WIN
   • Odds: 1 in 333

   6-WAY BOX ($0.50 = $41.50 | $1.00 = $83 | $5.00 = $415)

   • For numbers with three different digits (e.g., 123, 456, 789)
   • Match all three digits in any order
   • Example: You pick 123, winning numbers 132, 213, 231, 312, or 321 = WIN
   • Odds: 1 in 167

   FRONT PAIR ($0.50 = $25 | $1.00 = $50 | $5.00 = $250)

   • Match the first two digits in exact order
   • The third digit can be anything
   • Example: You pick 12X, winning number 123, 124, 125, etc. = WIN
   • Odds: 1 in 100

   BACK PAIR ($0.50 = $25 | $1.00 = $50 | $5.00 = $250)

   • Match the last two digits in exact order
   • The first digit can be anything
   • Example: You pick X23, winning number 123, 223, 323, etc. = WIN
   • Odds: 1 in 100

   SPLIT PAIR ($0.50 = $25 | $1.00 = $50 | $5.00 = $250)

   • Match the first and third digits in exact order
   • The middle digit can be anything
   • Example: You pick 1X3, winning number 113, 123, 133, etc. = WIN
   • Odds: 1 in 100

   STRAIGHT/BOX (minimum $1.00 even bet amounts only)

   • Combines a Straight play and a Box play in equal amounts on the same ticket
   • Splits your wager equally between both play types
   • If you win Straight, you receive both the Straight and Box prizes
   • If you win Box only, you receive just the Box prize
   • Must wager in even dollar amounts: $1.00, $2.00, $3.00, $4.00, $5.00
   • Example: $1.00 Straight/Box = $0.50 Straight + $0.50 Box

   COMBO (automatically plays all possible combinations)

   • Your ticket automatically plays all possible number combinations as Straight bets
   • 6-Way Combo: Costs $3.00 (6 straight bets × $0.50 each)
   • 3-Way Combo: Costs $1.50 (3 straight bets × $0.50 each)
   • Guaranteed to win if your three digits are drawn in any order
   • Prize: $250 for winning combination

3. Choose Your Wager: Select a wager amount in $0.50 increments between $0.50 and $5.00 ($0.50, $1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $2.50, $3.00, $3.50, $4.00, $4.50, $5.00)

4. Add Wild Ball (Optional): Adding Wild Ball DOUBLES your total wager cost but provides an additional way to win

Wild Ball Feature: After the regular Play3 drawing, one Wild Ball Number (0-9) is drawn. If the Wild Ball number matches one of the three winning Play3 numbers drawn by the Lottery, it can replace that digit to create a potential match with your ticket numbers. Important: The Wild Ball replaces a number drawn by the Lottery, not a number on your ticket.

Example: Winning numbers are 1-2-3, Wild Ball is 4

• If you have 1-2-4 on your ticket, the Wild Ball 4 replaces the drawn 3, creating a match
• Wild Ball prizes vary by play type
• Adding Wild Ball doubles your base wager (e.g., $1.00 bet becomes $2.00 total)

Multi-Draw Options:

• Advance Action: Play your numbers for up to 7 consecutive drawings in advance
• Replay: Request a new ticket with identical numbers and play type from a previous ticket

Important Rules:

• Sales limits apply if the Lottery's liability threshold ($7,950,000) is reached for a specific three-digit combination
• Tickets printed by a Retailer's Lottery terminal can be voided before the drawing, but tickets from vending machines cannot be cancelled
• All prizes expire 180 calendar days from the draw date
• Minimum age to purchase: 18 years old
