Texas Pick 3 is a fast-paced daily numbers game where players select three single-digit numbers (each from 0 to 9) and choose from multiple play types to determine how their numbers must match the drawn numbers. With four drawings held every day from Monday through Saturday and wagers as low as $0.50, Pick 3 offers frequent opportunities to win prizes up to $500 per $1 play. How to Play
- Get a Playslip: Pick up a Pick 3 playslip from any authorized Texas Lottery retailer.
- Select Three Numbers: Choose three single-digit numbers, each from 0 to 9. Mark them on the playslip in the designated boxes.
- Choose Your Play Type: Select one of the available play types: Exact Order, Any Order, Exact/Any Order, or Combo (detailed below).
- Select Your Wager Amount: Choose your bet amount ($0.50, $1, $2, $3, $4, or $5). Higher wagers produce proportionally higher prizes.
- Add Fireball (Optional): Mark the Fireball "YES" box on the playslip to activate the Fireball add-on. This doubles the cost of each board.
- Choose Your Draw Time (Optional): You can select specific draw times (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) or play all four draws.
- Choose Multi-Draw (Optional): Mark the Multi-Draw box to play the same numbers for up to 24 consecutive drawings.
- Or Use Quick Pick: Mark the "QP" box or simply ask the retailer for a Quick Pick to have the terminal randomly select your three numbers.
- Purchase and Receive Your Ticket.
- Check Results: Results are available after each of the four daily drawings.

Exact/Any Order

A convenient way to play all possible Exact Order combinations on a single ticket. Each arrangement is played as a separate Exact Order bet.

Fireball Add-On Feature: Fireball replaced the former Sum It Up feature on April 28, 2019. Adding Fireball doubles the cost of each Pick 3 board played. After each Pick 3 drawing, one additional Fireball number (0 through 9) is drawn. Players who opted into Fireball can replace any one of the three winning Pick 3 numbers with the Fireball number to create additional winning combinations.
How Fireball Works:
- The Fireball number is drawn separately after each Pick 3 drawing
- You can substitute the Fireball number for any ONE of the three drawn winning numbers
- This creates new potential winning combinations beyond the base game results
- You cannot replace more than one number; only one substitution per combination
