How to Play

MyDay is played by selecting a six-digit date in MM/DD/YY format. Choose one number from 01-12 for the month, one number from 01-31 for the day, and a two-digit number from 00-99 for the year.

Number Selection:

• Month: Mark one two-digit number from 01 to 12 on your play slip
• Day: Mark one two-digit number from 01 to 31 on your play slip
• Year: Select the last two digits of a year by marking one digit from 0-9 for the first position and one digit from 0-9 for the second position (creates a year from 00-99)

Valid Dates Only: You can only play valid calendar dates. Invalid dates like 02/30, 02/31, 04/31, 06/31, 09/31, and 11/31 are not allowed. February 29 is only valid for leap years (years divisible by 4, including 00, 04, 08, etc.).

Quick Pick: The lottery terminal can randomly generate a valid date for you. Just mark the QP (Quick Pick) box on your play slip.

Multi-Draw: Play your special date for multiple consecutive drawings by using the multi-draw box. You can purchase tickets for up to 12 weeks worth of drawings (84 consecutive draws).

Multiple Plays: Each play slip allows for up to 5 different dates, so you can play multiple meaningful dates on a single ticket (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).

Prize Structure: MyDay offers seven different ways to win by matching the month, day, year, or combinations of these elements:

• Match Month + Day + Year (all 6 digits): $5,000 - Odds: 1 in 36,525
• Match Day + Year (last 4 digits): $365 - Odds: 1 in 3,320
• Match Month + Year (first 2 + last 2 digits): $52 - Odds: 1 in 1,240
• Match Month + Day (first 4 digits): $12 - Odds: 1 in 369
• Match Year only (last 2 digits): $7 - Odds: 1 in 113
• Match Day only (middle 2 digits): $4 - Odds: 1 in 34
• Match Month only (first 2 digits): $1 - Odds: 1 in 13

Overall Odds: The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17. With seven ways to win, you have multiple chances even if you don't match the complete date.

Prize Payments: All MyDay prizes are fixed amounts paid as a single cash payment. Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any Nebraska Lottery retailer. Prizes of $600 or more must be claimed at Nebraska Lottery headquarters or by mail.

Top Prize Liability: The maximum top prize liability for any single MyDay drawing is $200,000, which equals 40 top prizes of $5,000. In the extremely rare event that more than 40 players match the complete date, prizes would be pari-mutuel and divided among all winners.

Claiming Deadline: All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date.

Playing Strategy: Many players choose meaningful dates like birthdays (01/15/87), anniversaries (06/20/99), or other special occasions. You can also play dates related to current events or random dates that feel lucky to you.
