Big Sky Bonus is played by selecting 4 numbers from 1 to 31 and 1 Bonus Number from 1 to 16. You can choose your numbers manually or use Quick Pick for random selection.

How the Bonus Works: During each drawing, 5 balls are drawn from a drum containing balls numbered 1 to 31. The first 4 balls drawn are the main winning numbers (order doesn't matter). The 5th and final ball drawn becomes the Bonus Number. Matching the Bonus Number along with 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 main numbers significantly increases your prize amount.

Jackpot Mechanics: The Big Sky Bonus jackpot starts at $2,500. If no one matches all 4 main numbers, the jackpot rolls over and continues to grow until someone wins. When you match all 4 main numbers AND the Bonus Number, you win both the entire jackpot plus an additional $10 bonus. If multiple players win the jackpot, it is divided equally among all winning tickets. All prizes are paid as a single lump-sum cash payment.

Claiming Prizes: Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any Montana Lottery retailer. Prizes of $600 or more must be claimed at Montana Lottery headquarters or by mail. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.
