How to Play

Multi-Match costs $2 per play and provides players with 18 numbers total spread across three lines of six numbers each. The Maryland Lottery draws six winning numbers from 1 to 43 every Monday and Thursday night.

Number Selection: You select the first six numbers (Line 1) from 1 through 43. The other 12 numbers (Lines 2 and 3) are automatically generated by the computer. Alternatively, you can use Quick Pick to have all 18 numbers randomly selected by the computer.

Two Ways to Win:

1. Individual Line Prizes: If you match 3, 4, or 5 numbers on any single line, you win a prize for that line:

   • Match 5 of 6 on one line: $1,000
   • Match 4 of 6 on one line: $400
   • Match 3 of 6 on one line: $15

2. Combined Lines Bonus: If you match between 5 and 18 numbers total across all three lines combined, you win an additional bonus prize of up to $2,000. This is in addition to any individual line prizes won.

3. Jackpot: Match all 6 numbers on any single line to win the rolling jackpot, which starts at $500,000 and grows until someone wins.

Prize Payment: You receive only the highest prize per board. If you win multiple prizes, the highest one applies. However, individual line prizes and the combined lines bonus are paid separately.

Jackpot Payment Options: Jackpot winners may choose between an annuity (30 annual payments) or a lump-sum cash option of approximately $460,000 (varies based on current jackpot amount).

Multi-Draw: Players can purchase tickets for multiple consecutive drawings in advance.

Overall Odds: The overall odds of winning any prize depend on your number matches across the three lines. The game offers multiple ways to win with both individual line matching and combined number matching.
