How to Play

Georgia Cash 3 is one of Georgia's most popular daily draw games, offering three chances to win every single day. The game is simple: pick a three-digit number from 000 to 999, or let the computer choose for you with Quik Pik. What makes Cash 3 exciting is the variety of play types that give you different ways to win based on how you want your numbers to match.

Play Types Explained:

1. STRAIGHT (Exact Order): Your three numbers must match the winning numbers in the exact order drawn. This is the hardest to win but offers the highest prizes.

   • Example: You play 1-2-3 Straight. You win only if 1-2-3 is drawn in that exact order.

2. BOX (Any Order): Your three numbers can match the winning numbers in any order. There are two types:

   • 3-Way Box: Used when two of your three digits are the same (like 1-1-2)
     • Prize: $160 on $1 bet, $80 on $0.50 bet
     • Odds: 1 in 333
   • 6-Way Box: Used when all three digits are different (like 1-2-3)
     • Prize: $80 on $1 bet, $40 on $0.50 bet
     • Odds: 1 in 167
   • Example: You play 1-2-3 Box (6-way). You win if any arrangement is drawn: 1-2-3, 1-3-2, 2-1-3, 2-3-1, 3-1-2, or 3-2-1.

3. STRAIGHT/BOX: This splits your $1 wager into two 50-cent bets - one on Straight and one on Box. You win a larger prize if your numbers match in exact order, or a smaller prize if they match in any order.

   • 3-Way Straight/Box:
     • Straight match prize: $330
     • Box match prize: $80
     • Odds: 1 in 333
   • 6-Way Straight/Box:
     • Straight match prize: $290
     • Box match prize: $40
     • Odds: 1 in 167

4. COMBO: This play type automatically creates Straight bets for every possible combination of your three numbers. The cost varies based on how many combinations are created:

   • 3-Way Combo: Costs $3 (or $1.50 for 50-cent plays), covers 3 combinations
     • Prize: $500 total ($1 bet) or $250 total ($0.50 bet)
   • 6-Way Combo: Costs $6 (or $3 for 50-cent plays), covers 6 combinations
     • Prize: $500 total ($1 bet) or $250 total ($0.50 bet)

5. FRONT PAIR: Match only the first two digits in exact order. The third digit doesn't matter.

   • Prize: $50 on $1 bet, $25 on $0.50 bet
   • Odds: 1 in 100
   • Example: You play Front Pair 1-2. You win if the winning number is 1-2-X (where X is any digit 0-9).

6. BACK PAIR: Match only the last two digits in exact order. The first digit doesn't matter.

   • Prize: $50 on $1 bet, $25 on $0.50 bet
   • Odds: 1 in 100
   • Example: You play Back Pair 2-3. You win if the winning number is X-2-3 (where X is any digit 0-9).

7. 1-OFF: Win if one, two, or all three of your numbers are exactly one digit higher or one digit lower than the corresponding drawn number in the exact position. This gives you multiple ways to win on a single ticket!

   • All 3 digits 1-Off prize: $125 on $1 bet, $62.50 on $0.50 bet (Odds: 1 in 1,000)

   • Example: You play 5-5-5 with 1-OFF. You win if the drawing is 4-4-4, 4-4-5, 4-5-4, etc.

How Drawings Work: Each drawing uses a Random Number Generator (RNG) certified for fairness and randomness. Three single-digit numbers (0-9) are drawn to create the winning three-digit number.

Claiming Prizes: All prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the drawing date. Prizes up to $600 can be claimed at any Georgia Lottery retailer. Larger prizes require a claim form and can be submitted at district offices, by mail, or at Georgia Lottery headquarters.
