How to Play

DC-5 is the District of Columbia's five-digit numbers game offering twice-daily opportunities to win up to $50,000. With an impressive 120 ways to win across 12 different play types, DC-5 provides more winning combinations than almost any other daily numbers game. Players select five digits, choose from multiple play types, and decide between the Day or Evening drawing.

1. Choose Your Numbers:

   • Pick five digits from 0 to 9 (one digit for each of the five columns on the play slip)

   • Up to five separate games can be played on a single play slip

2. Select Your Drawing Time:

   • Day Drawing: 1:50 PM ET
   • Evening Drawing: 7:50 PM ET
   • You can play one or both daily drawings

3. Choose Your Wager Amount: Select either $0.50 or $1.00 per play

   STRAIGHT

   • Match all five digits in exact order as drawn
   • Most difficult to win but offers the highest prize

   • For numbers with four identical digits (e.g., 11112, 22229, 55550)
   • Match all five digits in any order
   • $0.50 wager = $5,000 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $10,000 prize
   • Odds: 1 in 20,000
   • Example: Pick 11112, can win with 1-1-1-1-2, 1-1-1-2-1, 1-1-2-1-1, 1-2-1-1-1, or 2-1-1-1-1

   10-WAY BOX

   • For numbers with three identical digits and one pair (e.g., 11122, 33344, 55577)
   • Match all five digits in any order
   • $0.50 wager = $2,500 prize
   • $1.00 wager = $5,000 prize

   20-WAY BOX

5. Multi-Draw Options:

   • Multi-Drawings: Play identical selections for up to seven consecutive drawings in advance
